About
Valentina (Val) is a graduate of Wayne State University, Occupational Therapy and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Following graduation, Val immediately commenced employment as an Occupational Therapist working in the community. She has gained extensive experience working to assist individuals who have sustained an injury/impairment following motor vehicle collisions, with a wide range of diagnoses. Her knowledge base includes administering In-Home Assessments & Treatment, Assessment of Attendant Care Needs (Form1), Hospital Discharge, Work Site Assessments, identification of equipment needs and arrange for the provision as well as provide education and training regarding proper use. Val is highly regarded as a positive Leader and outstanding member of the Rehabilitation Team.
