Injuries sustained following a motor vehicle collision or work related injury can be devastating for the injured person as well as their family, leaving individuals feeling depressed, anxious and overwhelmed. The social work team at DMARehability is comprised of a knowledgeable, licensed team of professionals who are highly skilled at assessing and treating individuals and families who are suffering from a variety of challenges including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder. Through the use of various counseling techniques and models, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, we are able to help clients overcome the emotional and psychological barriers that can negatively impact upon their rehabilitation if left untreated, and assist them to live more productive and meaningful lives.
