About
Marla is a qualified Occupational Therapist registered to practice in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. In 2007, Marla graduated from Brock University, Honours, Bachelor of Kinesiology and in 2009, she completed her Master of Science, Occupational Therapy, from Queens University.
Marla is based out of DMARehability’s Kingston office where she provides occupational therapy services including, but not limited to, In-Home Assessments and Treatment, Attendant Care Needs (Form 1) Job Site Analyses and Ergonomic Assessments. She is a Certified Key Method Assessment Specialist, (Functional Abilities Evaluations), 2012 and is also a Certified Life Care Planner, 2018. In 2016, she completed Level Two, Certificate Training Program, and Cognitive Interventions for Adults with Acquired Brain Injury. Marla believes in a client centered, goal oriented approach to maximizing and improving quality of life.
