About
In 1987, Agnes earned her Bachelor of Science, Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. Her early years were spent at Peel Memorial Hospital, in Brampton, and Toronto General Hospital. She would return to London, accepting a position at University Hospital and The Arthritis Society.
In 1991, Agnes’ life took her to Milan, Italy where she pursued working as a product specialist for Smith & Nephew, and did consultation work for the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society. Upon her return to Canada in 1993, she founded DMARehability Occupational Therapy Inc.
Her positive energy and passion was ignited to assist those injured, as a result of a motor vehicle collisions. As the demand for services grew Agnes began growing her team, hiring and training occupational therapists with experience and specialties in various clinical areas. Recognizing a need for multidisciplinary services and community programs, Rehability and Disability Management Associates merged operations in 1998 becoming DMARehability.
The organization has continued to grow in numbers, services, disciplines and geographic coverage. DMARehability is a recognized leader in the provision of quality rehabilitation and disability management services in the auto, health and disability, medical-legal and employer markets.
Throughout her 33 year career Agnes, has continued to follow her passion of learning and mentoring new Clinicians. She has been an invited guest lecturing at multiple conferences and academic programs.
Agnes is a Co-Founder and Board Member of HABIT (Helping Acquired Brain Injury Treatment) as well sits on the Board as Director with the London & Middlesex Brain Injury Association.
