About
Samantha Wilson graduated from the University of Windsor with Bachelor of Arts (Honours) focused in Social Science, Combined Psychology and Visual Arts, and also achieved a Diploma from Fanshawe College in Fine Art. Samantha is a Rehabilitation Therapist, providing support to individuals of all age groups in their homes, community and residential facilities. In her role as Rehabilitation Therapist, she will assist in the facilitation and transition of seriously injured individuals into the community, and implement and reinforce compensatory strategies to encourage independence in activities of daily living.
Samantha gained valuable experience as a Rehabilitation Facilitator at Dale Brain Injury Services, and a Junior Facilitator at Behaviour Innovations where she implemented programs based on Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Through her work as a mentor at an ESL After School Program, Samantha gained experience assisting at risk youths with current school assignments, helped set goals for future education and implemented a behavioural program for dealing with stressful situations.
